About the photographer
Hloni Khoza
Hloni Khoza is a Johannesburg-based photographer, creative entrepreneur, and marketing graduate from the IMM Graduate School of Marketing. He is the founder of Bahati Creatives, a furniture design and manufacturing studio, where a deep respect for craftsmanship, form, and intentional design shapes the way he sees and builds visual stories.
Working primarily within street and documentary photography, Hloni is drawn to real, unguarded moments. His work sits in the in-between spaces of everyday life, where emotion, movement, and subtle detail quietly unfold. He has a strong sensitivity to people and place, often capturing scenes that feel familiar yet overlooked.
Across his practice, Hloni uses photography as a way of observing rather than staging, allowing stories to emerge naturally through light, composition, and timing. The result is imagery that feels honest, textured, and deeply human, reflecting both the environment and the lived experience within it.
Most of the images used on the website are Hloni Khoza.
